Amit Agarwal is India’s first Professional Blogger and the Founder of Labnol-Digital Inspiration. An IIT Roorkee Computer Science B.Tech Graduate, he previously worked at ADP Inc. for clients like Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch. In 2004, he quit his job to undertake blogging as a full-time career. In 2010, Amit launched India Blog School, a non-profit initiative that aims to spread blogging culture in India. He is also the curator of India Blogs, a directory of Indian bloggers.
Amit is a personal technology columnist at The Wall Street Journal India. He also authors the hugely popular and award-winning Digital Inspiration blog (Labnol) where he writes about computer software, consumer gadgets, and web applications. He has also written columns on personal technology for major publications including The Financial Express, Outlook Magazine, CNN IBN, CNBC TV18 and The Hindustan Times.
Amit is also the author of The Most Useful Websites, an Amazon Kindle book that discusses the lesser-known but incredibly useful sites on the web.
He also runs Best Indian Blogs, a directory of notable bloggers in India. He is also considered as the highest earning Adsense Individual Publisher in India. His monthly Google Adsense earnings is estimated to be over $40,000.
